JOSHUA
CHASE GOLD
(co-Artistic Director) is utterly thrilled
to be working on this brilliant project
with the coolest people in town. Joshua
received his BFA from the University of
Central Florida and trained with the good
folks of Shakespeare & Company in Lennox,
Massachusetts. Here from the inception of
Counting Squares, Joshua designed the
scenery for Boys’ Life (at both
Nicu’s Spoon and the Kraine) and directed
the critically acclaimed off-Broadway smash Bent at the 13
Street Repertory Theatre. New York work
outside Counting Squares Theatre includes
a recent scenic design for Pippin.
Favorite directorial and design credits
include: Bent, Credo,
Boys’ Life, Once on this
Island,
Spring Awakening, Medea, Nunsense! The
Musical, and Ruthless! The Musical.
Joshua looks forward to directing Counting
Squares’ 2008-2009 Season Opener,
Woyzeck. This one goes out to all the
New York City artists who do the voodoo
that they do. Infinite thanks to the
company and all who support us. You are
all beautiful!
